There are multiple sniper rifles available in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and all of them have their own advantages and disadvantages.
In a way, they are all unique and adjusted in a way that they can all be useful.
Below, we’ll go through the absolute best sniper rifles in Call of Duty Cold War.
I’ll also run you through all the attachments you’ll want to be using.
Pellington 703
The Pellington 703 is a bolt-action sniper rifle and is one of the fastest snipers out there in terms of getting your weapon up. While this is its main advantage, it is a lot weaker than the LW3 Tundra and M82 sniper rifles.
This is also the first sniper you can unlock in the game and it is not that bad when used as a quickscope build. In fact, it is by far the best sniper for quickscoping because of its mobility and aim down sight speed.

M82
The M82, Call of Duty Cold War’s .50 Cal sniper rifle, is the only semi-automatic sniper rifle in the game. It is still extremely powerful with the ability to one-shot enemies to the chest and the head.
The ammo capacity is low especially for a semi-automatic sniper rifle. You might find yourself lacking a ton of ammo and you will need to run the Scavenger perk just for this. It still packs a punch when you hit enemies from a long distance and you are still able to one-shot them.

All are incredibly useful for the M82 and it will take a while to unlock all these attachments as the weapon unlock itself is already difficult. The Gunfighter wildcard is a must-have but not mandatory so you can have another primary if you prefer with the Lawbreaker wildcard.
LW3 Tundra
The LW3 Tundra is another powerful bolt-action sniper rifle but a little slower compared to the Pellington 703 for the quickscope build. While it is still possible to do it, the Pellington 703 is still better because of the speed. The difference here is that the LW3 Tundra can kill enemies that are far away.
It has a decent magazine size and it is also has a significantly faster reload time compared to the Pellington 703. The default scope is also great and you can omit from getting optics if you prefer.

These are all the attachments needed for your LW3 Tundra to be fast while being potent at the same time. It needs the Gunfighter wildcard and you can also remove SOF Target Designator, the optics, and Raider Pad attachments if you want to go for the Lawbreaker wildcard that allows you to get another primary weapon.

All of these sniper rifles have their own advantages and disadvantages that make them unique. The Pellington 703 will be the fastest while the LW3 Tundra is the all-around type weapon.
