First making a name for himself by winning a number of Fortnite tournaments, Aydan has shown the community that he is not a one game wonder. In fact, he has taken Warzone by storm only to become a high-tier player since he moved over to Call of Duty after getting banned from competitive Fortnite.
With this in mind, a lot of players from the COD community are wondering how he does it, and to be quite honest, it not only comes down to pure skill and talent but also making use of the right setup and settings, which is what we are going to be covering in today’s blog.
While we cannot guarantee that you will be as successful as Aydan, we could at least show you his settings so that you can implement them into your own gameplay, and try to reach competitive success yourself.
|Setting Name||Aydan Settings Information|
|BR Button Layout||Tactical Flipped|
|Stick Layout Preset||Default|
|Invert Vertical Look||Disabled|
|Horizontal Stick Sensitivity||High 7|
|Vertical Stick Sensitivity||High 7|
|ADS Sensitivity Multiplier (Low Zoom)||0.93|
|ADS Sensitivity Multiplier (High Zoom)||0.93|
|Aim Response Curve Type||Dynamic|
First thing we see is that Aydan plays with controller sensitivity 7, which is quite high. This trend is seen across quite a lot of pro competitive players in Warzone. Players in the likes of WarsZ also play with sensitivity 7, which only leads us to believe that there is a significant advantage to playing with higher sensitivity.
Aydan’s Button Layout is Tactical Flipped, which is an option that surprisingly very few competitive high-tier players make use of. He uses R3 to crawl and crouch and R3+X to cancel. This essentially means that he will shoot with L1 & R1, while throwing utilities with L2 and R2.
Lastly, he uses the Dynamic Aim Response Curve Type, which is quite a popular option amongst competitive controller players as the rotation relative to stick movement gradually builds. It has it’s benefits over Linear or Standard, and could greatly improve your overall play style if you master it.
Aydan Controller & Headset Setup
To become a pro player, settings are often not enough. Sometimes, your setup can make or break you as a player. So, below, we will show you what controller and headset Aydan has used to achieve the success he has obtained in Warzone.
Aydan also uses the ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Wired Headset, which is the perfect headset for competitive gaming due to the great integrated audio technology ASTRO have developed. The headset also comes with a MixAmp Pro TR, which isn’t necessarily vital for your gameplay but has its added benefits.
Aydan is using the Scuf Infinity4PS Pro Black controller, which has made a name for itself due to the additional buttons and overall better grip that you can enjoy. Better grip is especially vital in heated moments where you need to be on top of your game.
