Charlie “MuTeX” Saouma is a Canadian Warzone player and twitch streamer who has managed to make a name for himself by simply being a beast at Warzone. If you are reading this blog, chances are that you know who he is, and have watched at least a few of his videos or streams, and you know what we are talking about.

So, in this blog post, we will dedicate our time to exploring in more detail the settings that MuTeX uses, and analyzing what they mean, and how they have helped him to reach the level of success he has obtained to date. After that, we will take a closer look at his setup, and see what he uses to compliment his talent at shooter games.

While we can’t promise you that you will be as good as MuTeX and start to win money from competitive Warzone, what we know for sure is that if you implement his settings and use his setup, you will get a chance to at least try to become a better overall player.

Settings

Controller Settings

Setting NameMuTeX Controller Settings

Stick Layout PresetDefault

Horizontal Stick Sensitivity20 (normally plays on 15)
Vertical Stick Sensitivity20 (normally plays on 15)
ADS Sensitivity Multiplier (Low Zoom)0.80
ADS Sensitivity Multiplier (High Zoom)1.00
Aim Response Curve TypeDynamic
Controller VibrationDisabled

MuTeX has started to use very high sensitivity just for the fun of it to see how it goes. Normally, he plays on 15-15 but has since upped that (perhaps temporarily) to 20-20, which is the highest sensitivity you can use on a controller.

His Aim Response Curve Type is also set to Dynamic, which is quite a unique option that not everyone utilizes. How it’s different? It allows for the gradual build-up of rotation speed that is relative to the movement of the thumbtacks. Essentially, it allows MuTeX to ‘flick and shoot’, just like mouse and keyboard players.

Now that we have done controller, for the MuTeX keyboard and mouse fans out there, these are the settings that MuTeX plays with on mouse and keyboard.

The first, and perhaps the only thing that we can see from the MuTeX sensitivity in Warzone is that he plays on 400 DPI, which helps him gain more control of his aim. On the downside, if you have a smaller desk, and not so much space to move your mouse, a slower sensitivity may not be the optimal choice for you.

Now, let’s take a deeper look into MuTeX’s key-bind settings.

As a fellow keyboard player, you may notice that there isn’t much that you could perhaps change. At the end of the day, it’s all about using the settings that you are most comfortable with. Yes, there are certain aspects of your settings that are an absolute must in order to optimize button efficiency, however, it isn’t that much big of a deal to your gameplay.

If you are completely new to Warzone or desire a drastic change, then these controller/keyboard settings are something that you should definitely try out.

Besides settings, your gear is just as important to becoming a great Warzone player. While using cheap and general products isn’t the end of the world, you really could make a difference to your skills and overall success if you invest a little bit of money in equipment that is designed with gaming in mind.

So, without wasting any more time, let’s take a look at what keyboard, mouse, and headset MuTeX uses.

Controller

First, the controller. MuTeX is sponsored by Battlebeaver and uses a custom PS4 controller made by the company specifically for him. Besides some design features, there aren’t many premium features that you cannot enjoy with a standard PS4 controller.

Keyboard

In terms of keyboard, MuTeX uses the Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. It is a proper gaming keyboard that is designed for gamers and can easily last you for years. Truly, a keyboard that you can rely on in the most heated of moments.

Mouse

He uses the Logitech G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse, which is a huge favorite amongst top-tier Warzone competitive players.

Headset

And finally, let’s not forget about audio. The headset that MuTex uses is the Sennheiser GAME ZERO Gaming Headset. It is the perfect partner for a player that likes to grind our Warzone for hours each day.

Beyond the amazing audio technology integrated into the headset, this model is also a favorite due to the super comfortable ear padding that doesn’t cause any discomfort when playing for a prolonged period of time.
