How to Use Blast Pack

Blast Pack is Raze’s ability to propel herself up or even forward. It depends on the timing and the position you are angled to the Blast Pack that can propel you either higher up or further in front. It can also deal 75 damage to enemy players but it is not recommended as throwing it to opponents can get you killed.

Blast Pack also has friendly fire and can only last 5 seconds on the ground. The timer starts when it is thrown and not when it has landed. You can also stall time by placing it outside of exit points as your enemies will not be able to clear it in certain angles.

The Blast Pack can use strategies that is like Jett’s Updraft but can also be used in very creative plays.

In the video above, it can be quite costly because it would require at least $400 for the double Blast Pack as well as the Showstopper. This is safer than just pulling out the Showstopper and peeking normally through the hallway. The enemies will never expect to aim up and will not be able to react in time to the incoming missile by then.

There are countless ways you can execute a double Blast Pack boost.

This is another example if you are already used to double boosting. The situation is where the enemy is trying to plant the spike behind the foundation or the enemy has just planted the spike and does not have time to reposition as he is already expecting you.

You can easily surprise him by jumping on top and if you land perfectly, you will not have to sacrifice control by shooting in mid-air as you should have already landed on the foundation.

How to Use Paint Shells

Paint Shells is great for checking corners and it could also be an area controlling ability because of the delayed cluster grenades.

The cluster grenades do not detonate unless they hit the ground so if the Paint shell is thrown in the air, it can be a small airstrike of cluster grenades. You can pull this off while aggressively pushing for a kill and quickly throwing it upwards while running. It is better to do this if there are multiple corners to weave around.

Don’t waste the Paint Shells even if it is free. Killing two enemies gives you another charge.

How to Use Boom Bot

Boom Bot is mostly used for disrupting the enemy and works best if you aggressively peek after setting up the Boom Bot. This forces the enemy to retreat even further or he will have to choose between getting blasted by the Boom Bot while trying to duel you.

The Boom Bot has 100 HP and lasts for 10 seconds. It changes direction every time it hits a surface and has a cone-shaped sensor in detecting an enemy.

It is also a great way to disrupt enemy pushes who keeps using line of sight abilities such as smokes and walls. It will be hard to see through the Boom Bot and will most likely find a target and explode.

It can even be good when it is used on Omen’s Dark Cover as they can see it. If you hear them shooting the Boom Bot, you can enter the Dark Cover and trade.

How to Use Showstopper

Showstopper does extremely high damage and is mostly a guaranteed kill when used correctly. It does 20-200 damage depending on how close the enemy is on the point of impact. Be careful as it does friendly fire as well.

You can switch weapons while using her ultimate but it will not stop the timer. It can be used at the edge of spawn points if you can telegraph the movement of the enemy team.
